I wish that i did have the funds to send to you right now, but unfortunately i do not. There have been no donations to this group, and the ones i have helped to date, have been out of my own pocket.

There are many craft fairs so you can certainly find another one if you are committed to the walk.  There are lots of holiday fairs, too - plenty of opportunities out there!  Rosie

thank you rosie!!! it feels great to get up and get out of this house also!!! not that i wasn't getting out before, but going out with a purpose is great!!! so far i am only working 3 days a week, we might be adding a fourth though. if not i will look for another job 2 days a week to bring in a little more..we'll see how it works out!! i am really excited about the breast cancer walk too!!! i have a dilemma though...it is on the same day as a craft fair i was checking into!!! it is only $85 for a 10' square booth...but that could be a lot of money!!! i guess i will have to see how the donation questions filter in over the next month. any input would be appreciated...

Okay so I am officially out of the hole!!! Thanks to all who gave suggestions and offered assistance!!! I am now on to better things!!! I have registered for a local walk to fight breast cancer!!! It is in October and I have already spoken to my husband and come up with an amount to pledge and how much we will need to save each week to get there!!! It feels great!!! If anyone on here would like to contribute to this wonderful casue please let me know and we can discuss the how and when!!! I think next year I will be joining the Avon walk and contributing to that also!!!! So let me know if you are interested!!!!

Well my family and I are in dire straits rt now. Our power has been cut off and I have noone that I can even borrow the money from. I'm disabled and I only receive $674 a month in disability and $254 in TANF. I was blessed to be able to get on the govt assisted program Section 8 but I stand about to lose that if I can't get the electricity back on. I need a total of $1618 to restore power. I have a pledge for $475 from the Dept of Social Services and I have $550 myself. That leaves a balance of about $570 or so...I will except any type of donation or even information on agencies that may help. Thk u

I have seen so many people that are needing help, that i decided to start this group, and hope that someone will contribute, so that funds will be available to those that are in desperate need.

I decided to start a page dedicated to Vermont Resources. So here it is. I'm doing this because I realized, that many helpful programs I come accross, are just for Vermont residents. I'm sure the same rings true for any of the States and strongly recomend for a page for every state as well as general pages. So as Vermont is the state in which I reside, I will post anything I find that is strictly state wide on this page and encourage and welcome everyone to contribute as well. I will post anything that is broader on my Idnic page so don't forget to check there too. (I have a few things there already having to do with Vermont, please check it out)

As I said, all post of anything helpful is welcome. I am a firm believer that knowledge is the key to success and combined knowledge is so vast. Thank you all in advance.
